A backed-up drain in a commercial setting is not just an inconvenience - it can shut down operations fast. That's exactly the situation we walked into on this call. The wash table drain had backed up completely, and the old corrugated flex pipe underneath was a big part of the problem. That type of pipe traps grease, debris, and buildup over time. It's designed to be flexible, but that flexibility comes at a cost.

Here's what we were working with - a drain that wasn't moving water the way it should, and piping underneath that was already working against itself. We started by snaking the line to break through the clog and get things flowing again. But clearing the immediate blockage was only half the job.

After snaking, we ran a camera through the line. This is a step a lot of people skip, and it's the one that matters most. The camera tells us exactly what's going on inside the pipe - whether there's buildup, damage, or a bigger issue further down the line. On this call, it confirmed what we suspected: the setup needed more than a quick fix.

We pulled out the old corrugated piping and replaced it with solid PVC - a clean p-trap configuration that drains properly and doesn't give odors or debris a place to hide. The difference between the before and after is exactly what good drain work looks like. No shortcuts, no band-aids.

Slow or stopped-up drains in a commercial space don't get better on their own. Whether it's a wash table, a floor drain, or a utility sink, the longer you wait, the worse it gets. We handle drain cleaning, camera inspections, and full pipe replacements - whatever the line needs to run right.
